"Showrooming" Explained
“Showrooming” is the concept of using retail stores and salespeople for expertise and information gathering, and then using that information to find, or bargain for, the best prices, typically online. And sometimes Showrooming is done merely to avoid paying sales tax in one’s home state.
We’ve all done it, and we all feel a bit guilty about it; we at Linen Society recognize that it’s part of the shopping landscape these days.
