Celso de Lemos
Celso de Lemos Celso de Lemos bedding draws upon the personal and acquired inspiration of family, friends, wine, food, and the beautiful countryside of Viseau, Portugal. Celso de Lemos is Portuguese textile poetry—cotton, silk, cashmere, and linen—all custom created to please the eye and rest the soul.
Royal-Pedic
Royal-Pedic Royal-Pedic began with the education of a 1930’s Heals of London apprentice, Abe Kaplan. Armed with their three-centuries-old English royal standard, Kaplan set off for America after WWII to bring entirely handcrafted luxury mattress making to an overseas market. From John F. Kennedy, to Ronald Reagan, to Wilt Chamberlain, a Royal-Pedic mattress has graced the bedrooms of many of the world’s most iconic figures.
Legacy Home
Legacy Home Away from the hustle and bustle of Washington DC, Legacy Home bases its operations in Chantilly, Virginia. Starting as seamstresses and crafters, Legacy Home grew into the world of fine linens by way of custom-covered boudoir accessories. With a clean, breezy Southern sense of style, Legacy Home has been designing luxury bedding now for three decades.
Santa Maria Novella
Santa Maria Novella The oldest perfumery in the world, Santa Maria Novella was officially founded in the 17th century after a public declaration of patronage from Florence’s Medici family. However, the iconic Italian company dates back even farther to 1221, as religious men and healers began to study the plants, flowers, and herbs of Tuscany behind its walls. With a legacy beyond compare, experience 800 years of master craftsmanship in one of our stores today.

Guided Tactile Exploration

The glory of our curated selection is more than just how a fabric looks, but also how it feels. Our passionate team understands that a fabric needs to be touched to be truly appreciated. Whether in store, or shopping online, we are able to provide cuttings and check out swatches of our fabrics to help you make the most informed and confident decisions for your needs (and wants!).

Meet The French Quarter Linens Team
Molly
Molly

Store Manager, since 2013

Joining the Linen Society team as French Quarter’s store manager in 2013, Molly has now worked in high-end retail for almost two decades. Molly made her break into management in the mid-90’s and has not looked back. Born and raised in Portland, she is a proud third-generation Oregonian, nerds out over helping with her children’s school projects, and loves everything from coffee to jewelry. Some may reserve it just for the cooler months, but this is Oregon—Molly swears by her SDH Legna Classic sheets all year round.

Cherry
Cherry

Sales & Design, since 2007

Cherry has had the pleasure of selling luxury bed and bath linens for the past fifteen years--both in Minneapolis where she is originally from; and now, at French Quarter Linens since 2007. One of her favorite past-times is traveling to Europe every year to visit her son who lives in Spain, as well as exploring other European countries. Cherry has had some amazing experiences visiting several of our European workrooms in Italy and Portugal to see, first-hand, how some of these beautiful linens are crafted. Her favorite summer sheets are Giza 45 Percale and for winter: Legna Classic.

Sara
Sara

Sales & Design, since 2013

Our resident Italian, Sara comes from the world of high fashion. Before landing in Portland, Sara split her time between Milan, Paris, and New York for legends like Balenciaga and Stella McCartney as a consultant. Sara has been with the company since 2013 and when off duty, she spends a lot of time in her sewing room. Sara sleeps on Capri Percale by SDH: "This is all I need—except some cold nights during winter when I switch to Legna for extra cozy.”

Mackinley
Mackinley

Visuals & Operations, since 2018

Before coming to French Quarter Linens, Mackinley received an MFA in Fiber Studies from Cranbrook Academy of Art, focusing in garment construction, crochet, and performance art. She enjoys learning about the technical processes of fabrication for our products, and sharing that information with our current and future customers. Mackinley is a seamstress and loves to create custom clothing for herself and others. She also spends time gardening, experimenting with new recipes, and spending quality time with her cat, Henry. “My favorite vendor currently is Co.Bi, as I highly respect their fabrication process.  This company really has embraced the "old-school" ways of making, such as their use of thistle to brush their newly woven fibers, and that extra attention to detail really comes through in the quality of their products.
