Collection: Lanerossi

Lanerossi began in 1817 with a wool mill in Schio, in the foothills north of Vicenza. It grew into one of Italy's defining textile houses, and as it grew it built the town around itself: worker housing, a nursery, schools, evening classes for the people at the looms. The same conviction ran through the work. Fortunato Depero and Bruno Munari drew for the brand, and the heated blanket was patented at the mill in 1942. Two centuries on, the company still treats that archive as a working reference rather than a relic.

What comes off Lanerossi's looms today carries the lineage lightly. Merino and fine wool, cashmere, alpaca: the fiber is chosen first, then given pattern that stays restrained and color that does not. Blankets, throws and cushions arrive dense in the hand, finished with the kind of attention that only reveals itself after a few winters. Wool and cashmere are sourced against recognized standards for animal welfare and mill conditions, a discipline the house treats as a baseline rather than a headline. It is textile with memory in it, made for rooms meant to be lived in.
