Le Blanc

Le Blanc Detergent

Le Blanc's Promise: Clean and Simple.

Over 30 years ago, Le Blanc® was founded on the idea that caring for your fine linens should be simple.

Traditional stain removing approaches for luxury bed and table linens with boiling hot water and harsh dry cleaning chemicals can damage the fabric and destroy its beauty. That is why they created Linen Wash®, a cold water cleaner for use in your washing machine.

Throughout the years they expanded the line of cleansers to suit every laundry need.

Details

Everyday detergents can contain bleaches and other harsh chemicals that cause the fibers in fine linens to yellow, break down, or otherwise weaken. Le Blanc created cleansers out of the necessity for a detergent in which to safely launder fine linens such as household bedding, table linens, and antique linens.

Each type is formulated specifically for different types of linens and laundry. Scent Notes are listed below:

Original:
A bright floral blend of jasmine, hyacinth, and hints of apple and kiwi, grounded by herbs, citrus zest, and soft woods for a fresh, timeless scent.

Blue Violet:
Inspired by African violets, this elegant mix of peony, jasmine, and mandarin rests on patchouli and sandalwood for a crisp, modern finish.

Lavender:
Wild lavender mingles with rosemary, bergamot, and rose, layered over eucalyptus and cedar for a soothing, classic aroma.

Portfolio:
A refined fragrance of citrus and violet over warm sandalwood, softened by musk, tonka bean, and a touch of vanilla.

Summer Verbena:
A light citrus scent of orange blossom, jasmine, and greens balanced by amber and musk—fresh and radiant as a summer day.

White Flowers:
Gardenia, lily, rose, and jasmine bloom together with bright citrus and bergamot for a lush, romantic fragrance.

Evergreen Woods:
An invigorating blend of sandalwood, cedarwood, and fir needles—fresh, earthy, and effortlessly sophisticated.

Materials & Care

Le Blanc® products have a neutral pH formula specially designed for the preservation of all fine washable fabrics; they are free of bleach, caustics, phosphates, sulfates, enzymes, and parabens.

  • Triple concentrated so only a ¼ cup (or one pump) is needed to be an effective stain remover against red wine, coffee, perspiration, blood, make-up, and more.
  • Washes work in cold water, so you never have to worry about heat breaking down the threads.

Extra Tips:

  • Wash your new sheets in cold water before putting them on the bed. Expect 3% shrinkage.
  • Dilute your detergent in the water before putting any fabric in the washer. Never apply any soap/detergent directly to fabrics while still dry.
  • Dry your sheets on air fluff, permanent press or the low temperature setting. High heat cooks the yarn causing the fabric to shrink and loose it natural softness.
  • Remove sheets promptly from the washer and dryer, smooth them out, and fold to reduce wrinkling.
  • Iron all your table and bed linens while they are still damp. If a piece is embroidered iron on the reverse side.
  • Give your washing machine and iron a vinegar bath monthly.
  • Thoroughly wash your hands or face to remove any lotions, creams, make up or soaps with oxidizing agents. They will discolor the fabric.
