Bellini Cover | Bedding

Bellini understands that the most inviting bedrooms don't look too carefully arranged. Its subtly mottled, softly textured surface — achieved through a yarn-dyed jacquard process that lets the cotton and linen fibers interact naturally — has an organic, almost weathered quality that reads as deeply relaxed without sacrificing an ounce of refinement. On the bed it pools and drapes with easy, effortless weight, looking equally beautiful perfectly smoothed or casually rumpled.

The 70% cotton and 30% linen blend is a combination that has earned its place in fine bedding for good reason: cotton provides the softness and body, while linen…

Custom sizes available.

Details

  • 70% Cotton & 30% Linen.
  • Yarn Dyed Jacquard.
  • Woven in Italy.

Materials & Care

Most cotton and linen bedding can be machine washed and dried when using the right detergent, mild temperatures, and gentle cycles.

Before First Wash: Confirm that your bedding is the correct size for your mattress and pillows. Linens are made with a shrinkage allowance that varies by fabric and weave. For maximum comfort, we recommend laundering before first use.

Sorting: Wash bedding separately, keeping light colors apart from darks. Avoid overfilling the machine or mixing with towels, heavy items, or anything with zippers.

Detergent: Use a small amount of mild, bleach-free detergent without brighteners or softeners (we recommend and sell Le Blanc products). For lightly soiled items, use half the usual amount. Never pour undiluted detergent directly onto fabric.

Machine Washing: Select a gentle cycle with cool or warm water; avoid hot water, which can weaken fibers.

Drying: Tumble dry on low heat. To reduce wrinkles, dry one item at a time and remove promptly. For an even smoother finish, remove while slightly damp and iron. Avoid liquid fabric softeners and dryer sheets.

Ironing: Press with a steam iron. Iron sateens and percales on the front side; embroideries and jacquards should be pressed on the reverse.

Storage: Store neatly folded in a breathable fabric bag. Avoid direct contact with plastic, cardboard, or cedar.

Stains: Treat according to the type of stain. Many can be removed with a diluted laundry detergent solution or a commercial product such as Shout! or Spray 'N Wash.

Professional Laundering: Large pieces, such as duvet covers, may be easier to clean professionally, and many customers enjoy the crisp, smooth finish of professional laundering.

Dry Cleaning: Not necessary for cotton or linen bedding.
