The chemicals used break down natural fibers over time.

For deep cleaning, Ogallala recommends professional laundering for your articles through Blanc Plume French Laundry.

At-Home Washing (Optional, At Your Own Risk)

Washing at home will void warranty coverage.

If you choose to proceed:

  1. Use a large-capacity, front-loading machine (never top-loading).
  2. Wash with a down-specific detergent, such as Le Blanc Down Wash. Avoid Woolite.
  3. Set to cold water, delicate or hand-wash cycle.
  4. Run a second rinse cycle with no detergent to remove all soap residue.
  5. Dry on medium heat for 6-8 hours, fluffing every 30 minutes to break up clumps. Do not air dry, as this can lead to mildew.
