Most cotton and linen can be machine washed with mild detergent, gentle cycles, and low heat.

  • Before Use: Wash once to account for natural shrinkage.
  • Sorting: Wash separately; avoid mixing with towels or heavy items.
  • Detergent: Use a small amount of mild, bleach-free detergent (we recommend Le Blanc).
  • Washing: Gentle cycle, cool or warm water only.
  • Drying: Tumble dry low, remove promptly, or iron slightly damp. Avoid softeners and dryer sheets.
  • Ironing: Steam iron front of sateens/percales; reverse side for embroidery/jacquard.
  • Storage: Fold and store in breathable fabric bags.
  • Stains: Treat with diluted detergent or stain remover.
  • Professional Care: Large items may benefit from professional laundering.

Description

Sheet sets include flat sheet & fitted sheet with 17 inch depth as well as two pillowcases. The top sheet and the cases have 'belt loops' to hold the silk bands which fasten at the outside edges with French knots. The bands are removable for laundering.
