Le Jacquard Français made Village de Noël with the Élysée for Un Noël Grand Est, a tribute to the winter traditions of eastern France and to the excellence of the Vosges mills. The design gathers the charm of a winter village into festive table linen.

Woven in France from cotton in a jacquard of coloured warp and weft, these tea towels are made for the work of a holiday kitchen rather than for display. Combed long-fibre yarns give the cloth its strength, and hemmed edges keep the finish neat. Sold as a set of four.

Materials & Care

Most cotton and linen can be machine washed with mild detergent, gentle cycles, and low heat.

  • Before Use: Wash once to account for natural shrinkage.
  • Sorting: Wash separately; avoid mixing with towels or heavy items.
  • Detergent: Use a small amount of mild, bleach-free detergent (we recommend Le Blanc).
  • Washing: Gentle cycle, cool or warm water only.
  • Drying: Tumble dry low, remove promptly, or iron slightly damp. Avoid softeners and dryer sheets.
  • Ironing: Steam iron front of sateens/percales; reverse side for embroidery/jacquard.
  • Storage: Fold and store in breathable fabric bags.
  • Stains: Treat with diluted detergent or stain remover.
  • Professional Care: Large items may benefit from professional laundering.
  • Dry Cleaning: Not needed for cotton or linen.
