Our sumptuous diamond matelassé, embellished with the iconic sateen tape border of our best-selling style, Lowell. Crafted in soft pliable cotton with a subtle sheen and easy drape, these coverlets offer a cool single layer for summer and add a crisp, elevated finish to the bed all year round.

100% cotton Petra matelassé woven in Portugal.Custom colors are available using any Milano, Nocturne or Talita color. Add 20% upcharge.Custom colors and custom sizes require 4-6 weeks lead time.Made in the Philippines of fabric from Portugal. Size:94 x 97 inches.

Materials & Care

  • 100% Egyptian Cotton.
  • Pre-wash linens before first use.
  • Machine wash in cold to warm water and remove promptly.
  • Use a gentle liquid linen wash. We recommend LeBlanc
  • Do not use laundry detergents or bleach; they contain caustics that harm fabrics.
  • Do not use fabric softeners; they coat and weaken fibers.
  • Launder bed linens alone, sorted by color and separately from other fabrics or garments.
  • Some facial and body creams contain ingredients that may cause discoloration of your fine fabrics upon laundering.
  • Line dry or tumble dry on low heat- removing promptly while still slightly damp. Hand smooth to minimize wrinkles.  Never “over-dry” your fine linens.
  • If desired,steam-iron linens to remove wrinkles and restore the luster of sateenweaves.Press on the reverse side of the fabric on the hot/warm setting.
